The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) has approved an extended transition period for the AHC41316 Certificate IV in Wool Classing qualification. This approval supports both new and continuing students, ensuring they have sufficient time to complete their training without disadvantage.

Transition Period Details:
- Existing transition period: 10 February 2025 to 10 February 2026
- Extended transition period: 11 February 2026 to 31 July 2027
The extended transition period applies to both new and continuing students who commence formal training and/or assessment on or before 10 February 2026. All students must either complete the qualifications or transition to a replacement qualifications by 31 July 2027.
The extension applies to all Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) with this qualification on their scope. The qualification will remain on the RTOs' scope of registration until the end of the extended transition period.
