Specialist Business Consultant (Hospitality)
The Specialist Business Consultant (Hospitality) is responsible for providing all-round academic services in Hospitality. This role provides global exposure to academic processes, with opportunities to work alongside multinational teams. We are seeking talented individuals with a strong Hospitality background and the ability to thrive in diverse cultural environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Course Development
- Material preparation & development (e.g., learning notes, learner guide, learner workbook, assessor guide, training materials).
- Develop course content and assignments, tests, etc., along with grading systems.
2. Training
- Develop and deliver course materials
- Providing training in the assigned unit of competency.
3. Marking and Assessment
- Assess students' range of skills and knowledge acquired throughout each unit of competency.
- Marking and grading the student's progress. Assessments tasks that are used to assess student performance effectively include:
a. In-class assessment/ demonstration
b. Projects
c. Observations
d. Questioning and Discussions
e. Work samples
f. Practical activities/case studies.
4. Documentation and Record keeping
- Developing and Writing reports.
- Maintaining official documents.
Attributes and Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate in Hospitality
- Experience and background: Experience in an Hospitality branch/Discipline with consistently good academic record throughout.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English.
- Assessment/Projects: Assessments/projects for hospitality courses for roads/foundations and busways.
